The Gila National Forest hosted an informational meeting on the Signal Fire on Monday evening.

Gila National Forest Supervisor Kelly Russell opened the meeting to tell everyone present that Silver City, Pinos Altos and the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument are "open for business."

Gila Cliff Dwellings tour time change

GILA CLIFF DWELLINGS NATIONAL MONUMENT, N.M. >> Entrance to the Gila Cliff Dwellings is permitted from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. As of Sunday, the daily guided tour of the cliff dwellings will be offered at 11 a.m. instead of the current tour time of 1 p.m. The 11 a.m. tour time will continue throughout daylight saving time and then change back to 1 p.m.
