Is the gill netting still going on on the reservation on the trinity and why do they get away with trying to sell the salmon?How long will fish&shame let this go on?Till the run is gone?

The "get away" with it because they have a legal right by treaty to catch and sell fish. Their police/game do a catch survey almost every day and remove nets, not identified and regularly serviced. By treaty and management plan, they are allowed a certain number fish of the total predicted runs. So it isn't quite the every indian for himself as you make it sound like.

wut do you know about salmon runs?......how long will the government allow non-indians to catch salmon in the ocean?....How long will the goverment allow you to catch fish in the ocean and sell them?.....till the run is gone? come on get a clue.

Great Story,you paint a wonderful picture! This really gets me excited about the upcoming river season. I always feel I get the best results when anticipation of success is low. Thanks.
