Missouri man, 78, dies in boating accident

One Missouri man died and another was hospitalized with hypothermia after their utility boat capsized Wednesday at Pomme de Terre Lake.John Smith, 78, and another man, 76, both of Springfield had stopped to eat lunch, but their boat overturned when one of them stood up, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Water Patrol.
