Oh well they might get the hunters well you know if God put them there why do man try to destroy everything that God plans. They have to be fools. If God set these animals like this then why can't we accept that we are in there way and respect nature. That is why why God say man will destroy him self.

I'm wondering how much this will help in ridding the people of the 'problem' bears. With no ryme or reason to the selection of the hunted. You may take out an old male who kept many younger males away from his territory and get more coming in. This plan does not seem very well thought out.

Tjuan, you are a fool. Obviously you know nothing of the bible:

Gen 1:6 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

Gen 9:2 The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands.

Gen 9:3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.

Psalm 8 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings [a] and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.

I agree. It seems to me that the Wildlife Department could have come up with a better plan. I don't see how killing 20 bears will correct the problem. If particular bears are causing problems then why can't they be caught and relocated? It makes no sense to me.

Hunting is a good thing, pull your head out and realize that 20 bears isn't anything but a very small fraction of the population.

Matt you left out this one on you response to Tijuan:
In Proverbs 12:10 we find with God’s Word:

“ A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal,
but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.”
I would say the fool is the one who picks and chooses what verses to pay attention to.

Are there more people moving to this area? Is that why they are seeing the bears? If that's the case, then the bears should be allowed to attack the humans for coming into their homes. I really don't get this. What are they going to do with the dead bears? I know you can hang the fur on the wall or something, but is there anything else? Poor bears. And what if they kill a mother bear with babies? Those babies will be left and most likely not survive, so that should add to the tally. This is just wrong.

[Man is] just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all. - Anton Lavey

It's a town, silly! Barely a blip on the map, but still a town, kinda down by Antlers. Although, it does kind of sound like a tribe, doesn't it?

I am going to have to say the same commment that I said in the post about seatbelts...People are so worried about these innocent animals being killed and me not wearing my belt..but women KILL INNOCENT babies everyday and not a damn thing is being done about that..What is wrong with this world that people are worried about animals and not humans...what a shame.

a). innocent of what?

b). Bears don't have guns, so they can't attack the hunters.

c). I say leave the bears alone.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Virgo

If you've got an important task to accomplish, this is the time to do it. A Libra Moon ensures that you're level headed, focused and unmoved by the behaviour of others for the next day or so. Don't put any undue pressure on yourself, Virgo: if you don't get it right the first time, you know there'll be another chance. The pessimistic people that you are likely to encounter today need your logic and positive input.
