    Hurricane donations to be accepted

    The Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home and Care MacLean Chapel is accepting donations to support those affected by Hurricane Florence in Wilmington, N.C. "Altmeyer Funeral Homes has served families in our communities for more than 100 years during their time of need and this time is not typical, but just as important," Donations of bottled water and cleaning supplies will be accepted 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Friday at both the Calcutta Chapel and Care MacLean Chapel in Wellsville "Helping others has been the foundation of the Altmeyer family, whether giving back to the community, serving in the Armed Forces or volunteering at church, Altmeyer is known for sharing their time and resources.
