Sue Hays Padula, age 95, of Westport, the beloved wife of Andrew Padula for over 72 years, passed away peacefully in Norwalk Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Lynnville, KY to the late William and Esther Hays, she was one of eight siblings. Comment?

State police said Friday morning that they are investigating the discovery of possible human remains found in Weston during a search connected with an Easton couple who have been missing nearly three months. Police began searching the property and area near 89 Norfield Road in Weston on Thursday afternoon after receiving information that possible human remains had been found. Comment?

Staples High School students and staff are in mourning this week after learning of the unexpected death of a counselor at the school for the last 17 years. Chris Lemone, 49, the town Human Services Department 's youth outreach counselor at Staples, who also was the adviser for the Teen Awareness Group , died last Sunday. Comment?

Services have been announced for Christopher Lemone, 17-year Staples High School outreach counselor who died Sunday in Bethel at age 49. The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday, Oct. 22 from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Green Funeral home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 26 Dodgingtown Road, Bethel. Comment?
