    Wayne Mason O'Brian

    Wayne Mason O'Brian, fifth and youngest child born to Eunice Marion [Gladstone] and Carman Burt "Mike"' O'Brian in Ogdensburg, Wayne started his career in Colusa as a meat cutter, working for Frank's Meats, then continued that career in Tucson and at Safeway in Wenatchee, , Safeway until it's closing. Wayne then worked with his dad and brother, Steve, as an industrial painter and sandblaster, finally owning his own industrial/residential sandblasting and painting company.

    Hiker who died fell, suffered blunt force trauma

    Authorities say a hiker whose body was flown by helicopter out of the Buck Mountain area, north of Lake Wenatchee died after an accidental fall. Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris says 43-year-old James Rothwell of Seattle died Saturday as a result of blunt force trauma to his head and body.
