    Dorothy Burr, 75

    Born in East Freetown, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mendes, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life. She is survived by three children, Donna Burr and Kenneth Burr, both of New Bedford, and Aaron Burr of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Adeline Delgado of Florida and Cecilia Rose of New Bedford; eleven grandchildren, including Kendra Burr with whom she resided; eight great-grandchildren; her special niece, Doreen Mendes of New Bedford; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
