    East Bound and Down

    Visitors to Saturday's event honoring the late film actor Burt Reynolds take an interest in a 1977 model Trans Am similar to the one used by Reynolds in the 1977 action-comedy movie "Smokey and the Bandit." With the recent passing of actor Burt Reynolds, several truckers wheeled to Texarkana on Saturday in tribute to "Bandit 1" as they traced the film's beer bootlegging path.
