    "Deadliest Catch" star Tony Lara died of an apparent heart attack while attending the annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, Meade County Sheriff Ron Merwin told TheWrap on Tuesday. The 50-year-old commercial fishing ship captain, a featured player on the hit Discovery reality show, died Saturday morning at a private home in Sturgis, Meade had said.

    A Wichita man died Monday in a motorcycle crash while in South Dakota for the 75th annual Sturgis rally, authorities have said. John Rowlett, Jr., a 42-year-old man from Wichita lost control of his motorcycle Monday while on South Dakota Highway 87. He collided with a rock and died of his injuries, officials with the South Dakota Department of Public Safety said.

Sixty-three-year-old Rose Ann Richard was thrown from the motorcycle on which she was a passenger near Sturgis on Interstate 90. The Belfield, N.D., woman died Monday of her injuries.

    Second Fatal Crash In Sturgis Saturday

    The name of a Colorado man who died in a motorcycle crash Friday has been released and another fatal crash Saturday has taken the life of an Ohio man. Forty-five-year-old Gregory Bullard of Fort Collins, Colorado died Friday night in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 14A, one mile south of Lead.
