He is survived by his wife Jennifer and his children, Cassie , Alan and Thomas; granddaughter Findley Brown; a brother Robert Chris and his wife Kathy Porch of Fayetteville, GA; a step-sister Amanda Guy of Bean Station, Tennessee; numerous nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

    Graveside services for James David "Jim" Hannum Sr. of Mansfield will be held at noon on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 5201 South Southwood Road in Springfield, just off U.S. 65. Arrangements are under the direction of Holden Funeral Service in Sparta. After his high-school graduation, he served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard, serving during the Korean War, where he ultimately earned distinction as a retiree and disabled war veteran.
