    He was a lifetime member of Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department, the first elected Captain of Spotsylvania Fire Company 8 in Thornburg and the owner of a local fire protection company since 1989. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida and James Long Sr. of Burr Hill; his brothers, James Long Jr. and Donnie Long of Burr Hill and his wife, Sharon Long of Spotsylvania.

    Myron R. Adolph

    Myron grew up in rural Minnesota where he met and married Janet Adolph and where he was a farmer for 45 years until his retirement. During those years he also developed unique woodworking skills that provided great enjoyment, as well as the foundation for a custom framing business he established and operated.
