    Monteith, Zolman Tire founder 'Bud' Zolman dies

    Vernon "Bud" Zolman, a co-founder of Monteith Tire in South Bend, Ind., died unexpectedly June 14 in Naples. He was 73. Mr. Zolman was a life-long resident of northern Indiana, where he went to work early in his career with Firestone Tire & Rubber Co.

    Death of six-month-old ruled a homicide

    The St. Joseph County Coroner's Office confirmed an autopsy of Isabella Christner revealed she died of blunt force injuries, and her death was officially ruled a homicide on Monday. Christner died at a South Bend hospital on March 12 after being transferred over for treatment.
