A memorial is planned next Tuesday for Dolores Barnecut , who died two weeks ago at 88. Here's the remembrance her family is sharing: "Dee" was born in Seattle on July 26, 1926, and was the only daughter of the late George and Margaret Anderson. She graduated from West Seattle High School, Class of 1944, and she married her high-school sweetheart, Richard J. Barnecut, in 1947. Comment?

Donnie Chin, executive director of the International District Emergency Center , passed away this morning, July 23, after being shot before 3 a.m. at 8th Ave. S. between S. Lane St. and Weller St. in Chinatown International District. Chin's service in the I.D. was usually a one-man show, patrolling in the ID. Comment?

Frances Louella Davis, 83, passed away peacefully in her home with her family and friends at her side on July 2, 2015, in Wenatchee, She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Lowell D. Davis of Wenatchee; her sons, James Davis, Steven Davis and daughter-in-law, Angie Juchmes of Wenatchee; daughter, Shirley Davis and son-in-law, Michael Sofie of Seattle, to their farm in Arkansas in 1947. Frances always said she took one look at Lowell and said "she was going to date that boy and she might even marry him." Comment?
