    Long time Valley County resident Mary Ann Moen, 93, passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, from natural causes in Fargo, N.D., with her daughter, Ruth, by her side. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Lutheran Church in Glasgow on Wednesday, March 8, at 11 a.m. She was born on Feb. 18, 1923, in Polson, Mont., to Homer and Ruth Clowes.

    Audrey K. Yaeger, 91, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Feb. 12, 2017, at Home Again Assisted Living in Cambridge. Audrey loved quilt making, sewing and enjoyed several other crafting hobbies such as ceramics, painting gourds, furniture refinishing, chair caning, reupholstering, and was an avid gardener who loved canning her homegrown goods.

    San Rafael: William Schwarzer, retired U.S. judge, dies

    William Schwarzer, a retired federal judge in San Francisco, died Saturday at his home in Terra Linda, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals announced Wednesday. He was 91. Schwarzer was born in Berlin in 1925 and his family emigrated to the United States.
