Vince was born on October 6, 1955, in Norfolk, Va., to the late Ray J. Cuevas, Sr. and Lola Cuevas of Lee. Vince attended Lee schools and North Adams State College before serving his country for six years in the Navy, stationed in San Diego, Calif., and working as a Telecommunications Specialist.

    An elderly woman died Saturday afternoon after being involved in a car crash with a teenage driver in Rancho Bernardo, police said. The woman, 71, was riding in black 2006 Toyota Avalon driven by a 72-year-old man when it was hit by a 17-year-old boy in a Jeep, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.
