    Max Lee Johnson

    Mr. Johnson was a faithful member of Unity Chapel Church, where he served as superintendent as long as his health permitted. Survivors include his wife of 44 years: Berylann Brown Johnson; a daughter: Crystal Johnson; one son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Robbyn Johnson; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Robert and Joel Bryan, of North Carolina, and Homer and Brenda Bryan, and Oren Johnson Jr., both of Rogersville; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Gloria and Willis Southerland, of Rogersville, and Debbie and Benny Jenkins, of Chuckey; a sister-in-law: Kathy Bryan; and several nieces and nephews.

    Peggy Maczine Jones

    Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law: Patsy and Larry Yerkes; and a brother: Jim Harris, all of Indiana; two sisters-in-law: Louise Everhart, of Mohawk, and Betty Carrier and her husband, Billy, of Rogersville; a brother-in-law: Roy Jones, of Mosheim; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 A1 2 years: Charlie Earl Jones; her mother and stepfather: Sylvia and Bill Rozhon; her stepfather: Henry D. Harris, who raised her; and a sister: Shelia D. Harris.

    Dale Kenneth McNabb

    He was employed as a teacher and principal at Keplar Elementary and Surgoinsville Middle schools and was a member of the Hawkins County Retired Teachers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dale and Mary Kate McNabb; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Homer and Jessie Reeves; a brother-in-law: Ronald Reeves; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

    She is survived by six daughters: Wanda Hale, Mary Stubblefield, Sherry Baugard, of Greeneville, Kathy Myers, Lora Dyer, Marlene Patterson, of Bulls Gap; a son: Terry Mowell, of Bulls Gap; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters: Elise Mowell, of Rogersville, and Helen Hoard, of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews.     Phillip Riley Sexton Jr.

    Phillip graduated from Bulls Gap High School, received an associate degree from Walters State Community College and attended Tusculum College. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served on the USS Jamestown and was stationed in Japan for approximately a year.
