    Quedeshia Donyell Brown, 20, of 111 S. Pinkston Street died March 21 in Rocky Mount, NC. She was born in Vance County to Teresa Denise Buie Brown and the late Robert Donnell Brown.

    Her best friend, 20-year-old Quedeshia Brown, was one of four N.C. Wesleyan College students who died in a fatal car crash Monday evening on North Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount at the front entrance of campus. Donesha Scott, 19, of Raleigh; Robyne Barnes, 20, of Conway; and Kandis McBride-Jones, 20, of Littleton, were also killed in the crash, according to the Rocky Mount Police Department.

    Woman helps feed the homeless

    Bartley, a volunteer chaplain at Nash UNC Health Care, will sponsor a community feeding event called the Easter Love Feast from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Booker T. Washington Resource Center at 225 S. Church St. The concept is similar to the Christmas event she organized and coordinated last year to feed the homeless and less fortunate in the area. Bartley said food is being prepared to feed about 150 people.

    Four N.C. Wesleyan Students Killed in Wreck

    March 23--Four N.C. Wesleyan students died in a Monday night car crash on North Wesleyan Boulevard near the front entrance of the campus in Rocky Mount. The victims were all members of the class of 2019.
