Two codefendants in a case involving the death of a 17-year-old Rochester girl pleaded guilty in federal court to distributing a controlled substance with death resulting. Judge Landya McCafferty accepted the plea agreement set by the government Monday afternoon for Mark Ross, 42, of Rochester, and Leslie Aberle, 32, of Salisbury, Mass., during a change of plea hearing at the U.S. District Court in Concord. A New Durham man received 12 months of jail time for fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run collision that left a Rochester man dead. Jason Douglas, 24, of 28 Miller Road, was sentenced on Monday for a conduct after an accident charge after he struck Jeffery Howarth, 51, of Rochester, with his truck in May 2015 and fled the scene of the incident.
