    For 35 years Gray worked for the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish & Parks. He was also a member of the South Dakota Army National Guard, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.

    Rapid City sanitation worker dies

    The Rapid City sanitation worker who had to be rescued from the back of his truck earlier this month has died, according to a release from the city. David Legros, 60, died Tuesday of complications related to a medical condition suffered while working his collection route Jan. 5. Legros had climbed into the compactor on his truck to pull out a trash container when he had a medical emergency.
