He is survived by his parents, Wayne Sanford Draper Sr. and Mary Louise Draper of Pulaski; daughter Amanda Faith Draper of Pulaski; brothers James Gray Jr. of Dublin, Va., and Michael Lee Gray of Wytheville, Va.; sisters Frances Louise Reid, Stella Ethel Draper and Cynthia Dawn Johnson, all of Pulaski; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

    William Jackson (Bill) Dalton

    William Jackson Dalton, 91, passed away peacefully the afternoon of July 4, 2016, within minutes of being honored by the Town of Pulaski, Va., along with 12 other World War II veterans for their efforts in preserving the freedoms and liberties we all enjoy today. Bill is survived by his wife of 68 years, Esther Gibbs Dalton, of Pulaski, who was by his side at the time of his passing; their three children, Sandra Morris and Ronnie North with their children Tammy Dewan and William Morris, Michael and Gina Dalton with their children Jenna Witte, Chandler Dalton and Juliana Dalton, and Keith and Leslie Dalton; and sister Mable Akers.
