    Born on January 23, 1954 in Marion, SC, son of William and Gladys M. Gurley, he attended East Side High in Paterson, NJ. Following school he entered the U.S. Army in 1972 and received several decorations including the National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Star, six Army Good Conduct Medals, four Overseas Service Ribbons, a Commendation Medal with 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster and the Meritorious Service Medal.

    Mercer County man charged with murder in Paterson st...

    PATERSON - A Mercer County man has been arrested in the stabbing death of a 50-year-old man near an abandoned home, authorities said Thursday. Frank P. Edwin, 50, of Paterson was found about 11 a.m. near 52 Paterson St. on Wednesday suffering from multiple stab wounds.

    Genesis to perform at church

    The award-winning Genesis Chorale and Men's Ensemble will be performing a concert entitled "Songs In the Night" at Hope Church in Wantage. The 30-member select choir will present a blend of choral hymns and American folk music accompanied by piano, guitar, mandolin and fiddle.

    Two decades of Utopia

    Sue Costanza and her brothers all learned to cook from their mom, Mary Rennell, and turned that love of cooking for others into businesses. Costanza and her husband, Donald Dickert, own Utopia Deli and Cafe and the adjacent Suzy's Tomato Pizzeria in Hewitt.
