Casey Arthur Heckman, 88, of Carmel passed away Feb. 16. Heckman was born on July 27, 1928, in South Bend, the son of the late Casimir and Carrie Hecklinski. He is survived by brother, Robert Hecklinski of South Bend, brother-in-law Robert Taylor of Owensboro, Kentucky; daughters Patty Ritter of Fort Wayne, Kay Heckman of Eagan, Minn., son Mark Heckman of Batesville; grandchildren Taylor Heckman of Batesville, Meredith Stewart and Kaylen Ritter of Muncie, and Costin Ritter of Indianapolis; and special friend Ellen Zonin of Zionsville.
