The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says Garrett Gibson died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Gibson was in the DOC custody but had not actually been processed into Lexington Correctional Facility.The DOC says Gibson was taken to the hospital in Lindsey on May 13. He was then transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City on May 14 and died on May 17. Earlier this month Gibson pleaded guilty to stealing seven head of a cattle from an Osage County ranch last year. Comment?

A Woodward man died Monday after his vehicle hit the back of a tractor-trailer rig in Major County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. About 8:50 a.m., Danny Richard Chumley, 60, was driving a pickup east on U.S. 60 about three miles west of State Highway 58.
