She had worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a secretary and at the Twin Kiss Restaurant, Shermans Dale; a 1955 graduate of Newport High School; a member of Shermans Dale United Methodist Church; and enjoyed gardening, bowling, traveling and playing pinochle. Surviving are three sons, Michael C. of Newport, Edward L. of Shermans Dale and Shane L. of Newport; a companion, Earl E. Yohn of Shermans Dale, and his children, Jeffrey M. Yohn of New Kingstown and Denise C. Mull of Duncannon; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Comment?

Ellen was a widow of Raymond Strunk and is survived by: sons, Raymond Strunk Jr., of Thompsontown, and Randy Strunk, of Newport; daughters, Patricia Reichenbach, Bonnie McGowan, both of Thompsontown, Cindy Fye, of Lewistown, and Mary Fox, of Richfield; stepsister, Arvella Leach, of Millerstown; stepbrothers, William Burris and Robert Burris; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: a son, David Strunk; a granddaughter, Amy Strunk; and a greatgrandson, Justin Borrell Jr. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015, at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport.
