    Barbara J. Amaral, 73

    Barbara Jean Amaral, aged 73 years, lifelong resident of Middleboro, died Friday, January 29, 2016, at Tobey Hospital, Wareham, after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Antonio F. R. C. Amaral; they had been married for 56 years.

    She is survived by her siblings, Alan Fuller and his wife, Virginia, Norma Switzer and Doris Bonnett, all of Vermont, and Eulalee Fisher of Florida; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Miss Fuller was born in Woodsville, N.H., to the late Carroll and Irene Fuller.

    Eugene Foley, former federal leader, dies in Montana

    Eugene Foley, a Whitefish resident with a long history in federal public service who worked to expand small business and ensure racial equality, has died. He was 87. Foley, a Minnesota native, served as campaign manager and policy adviser to U.S. Sen. and Vice President Hubert Humphrey.
