    Dot was a native of Bedford, Virginia and a longtime resident of Lynchburg, Virginia before moving to Stones River Manor in Murfreesboro in 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Campbell, Jr; her daughter Suzanne C. Blackwell; her parents Jesse Claude and Minnie Ballard Hopkins; her grandmother Mrs. James Winston Ballard of Bedford, VA.

    Surviving are a daughter, Susan and husband, James Bulka, with whom she lived for the past five years in Arlington Heights, Ill.; a son, William Wilson in California; and a sister, Josephine Dillon of Hollidaysburg. Helen had a wealth of loving relatives and beloved friends, including two nieces: Colleen Boyd and husband, Dan, of State College, and Ann and husband, Joe Pavlic and family, of Lynchburg, Va.; a nephew, Michael Dillon and wife, Deborah and family, of Altoona; and members of the Wilson and Bulka families who live in various parts of the country but remain close at heart.
