    George Zirkle Johnston

    The son of James Clarence Johnston and Mary Elizabeth Vann Johnston, Zirkle grew up in the Cave Creek community and attended school in Roane and Loudon counties. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Army Second Infantry Division and was stationed in Incheon and Chuncheon, Korea, until the war ceased in 1953.

    Rachel Treadway Wilson Robinette

    Rachel, one of eight children, was born near Whites Creek on Aug. 30, 1916, to Francis Arlena Plemmons Treadway and George Washington Treadway. Rachel was widowed five times.

    Maxine N. Thompson

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas F. and Reecie Lee; her husband, Claude R. Thompson; son, Michael Thompson; and brothers, Wayne, Johnny, Charles and Jimmy Lee. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie and Bob Ferguson, of Loudon; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Sue Lee of Lenoir City; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Elmer Hatley of Lenoir City; and several nieces and nephews.
