    Evelyn was a devoted Christian and an active member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City where she was a Sunday School teacher and was very active in the HUGS program, Front Door Visitation Program and was a Prayer Partner. Evelyn was a life-long resident of Lenoir City and a 1950 graduate of Lenoir City High School and graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens.
