Vincent P. Randazzo, an award-winning reporter for The Times-Picayune who was its city editor for 10 years, died Saturday at his LaPlace home. He was 89. A lifelong New Orleanian until he moved to LaPlace in 1993, Mr. Randazzo graduated from Jesuit High School and Tulane University, where he majored in geology and journalism and wrote for The Hullabaloo, the student newspaper. Alice Louise Gant, a long-time resident of LaPlace, LA passed away peacefully at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home at the age of 95. Born in 1921 in Davis County, Kentucky, Louise was the eldest of three daughters of Roy and Florene Armes. The family eventually moved to Roxana, Illinois, where Louise graduated from Wood River High School and pursued a secretarial career. Comment?
