    Family of teen who died after exiting moving JCPS bu...

    Shirley Pritchett, whose grandson Dylan Hill died July 31 after he somehow got out of a moving bus on Westport Road, filed the lawsuit Tuesday in Jefferson Circuit Court as an administrator of Hill's estate.  The suit names the Jefferson County Board of Education, JCPS Superintendent Marty Pollio, JCPS Director of Transportation Services Randy Frantz, Anthony Madison and Uspiritus Inc., which provides residential psychiatric care and other services for Kentucky youth.

    William Petrie "Pete" Hampton, Jr., age 69, of Big Clifty, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Born July 21, 1948, in Hopkinsville, the son of William and Pauline Cary Hampton, Pete is survived by his wife of 49 years, Katherine Teater Hampton, of the home; a son, William Hampton, III, of the home; a daughter, Paula Hicks , of Leitchfield; his mother, Pauline Hampton, Conway, Arkansas; one sister, Charlotte Jones , Conway, Arkansas; two brothers, Paul Hampton, Big Clifty, and Phillip Hampton, Lexington; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
