    Jason Mackenroth of Rollins Band dies at 46

    Jason Mackenroth, the drummer for the Rollins Band from 1998 to 2004 who went on to release two solo albums and enjoy an eight-year run with Blue Man Group, passed away at home in Henderson, NV on Sunday, January 3, 2016 after a nearly four-year battle with prostate cancer. A memorial service will be held in the Las Vegas area later this month.

    Jason Mackenroth, who played drums for Rollins Band from 1998 to 2004, died on Sunday after a nearly four-year battle with prostate cancer. He was 46. Following his tenure with the Rollins Band, Mackenroth released two solo albums and spent eight years playing as a band musician with the Blue Man Group 's Las Vegas production.
