    Joyce Jobin, age 60, of Hudson, died Friday in the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA after a 3 year battle with breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of William T. Jobin, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage.

    Father Eugene J. Plasse, 77, the longtime chaplain for the Springfield Diocese's Catholic Committee on Scouting, died unexpectedly on Oct. 13 while visiting his sister in Virginia. The son of Hector J. Plasse and Marie Irene Plasse, he was born on Nov. 18, 1940 in Holyoke and was a native of St. Christopher Parish in Brimfield.

    Constance Penta, 86

    Constance Marie Penta, 86, of Wakefield died Monday evening, September 10, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the High Point Hospice House in Haverhill. She worked for several years at the former Transitron in Wakefield, and then for many years at the food counter at the Woolworth in Stoneham, which was her favorite job because she loved people.
