    Lura Mae (Bayless) Schoettmer Conger

    Lura Mae Schoettmer Conger, 89, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. She married Lawrence B. "Larry" Schoettmer on April 6, 1947, at First Christian Church in Greensburg.

    William H. Graves, 56, who resided in Whiteland, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016, in his home from pancreatic cancer. He was a true outdoorsman and a skilled hunter and fisherman.

    Kenneth B Allen

    He was in the U.S. Army's 5th Infantry Division in World War II and was a Battle of the Bulge veteran. He retired from General Motors Allison's Gas Turbine Division in 1982 after 32 years; he retired as a CNC lathe operator.

    Evelyn LuLu Rose Parmer

    Evelyn LuLu Rose Parmer, entered eternal life at 2:30 a.m. July 19, 2016, at Simon Cancer Center, at the age of 85. She was a resident of Edinburgh. She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Susie Pierce of Clinton, Linda Burlew of Columbus, Kathy Mohr of Greensburg, sons Larry Parmer of Waldron, Jerry Parmer of Edinburgh, Rick Parmer of Franklin; sister, Ethel Parmer of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

    Mary Elizabeth Pierce

    She also is survived by one son, Ed Mitchell of Ormond Beach, Florida; one granddaughter, Carena Mitchell; five great-grandchildren, Haley, Braden, Jonathan, Natalie and Noah; and four siblings, Carolyn, Betty, Doris and Jim. Mary was employed by Varymit Mills in Franklin until their closing.

    Butch is survived by his wife, Sammie Woodall; his children, Keith Woodall of Franklin and Irsila Caudill of Park City, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Tyler, Eric, Aaron and Mercedez; his brothers, Gary Woodall of Franklin and Eric Woodall of Greenwood; his sisters, JoAnne Wooten of Franklin, Sara Silvers of Campbellsburg, Mary Such of Greenwood, Terri Newbold of Franklin, Tina Robinson of Birmingham, Alabama, Lisa Phelps of Bargersville and Julie Woodall of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.     Martha was employed by Diamond Chain in Indianapolis and later, as personnel manager, by Dage Electric, which became Bendix, in Franklin. She was also a loving caregiver for both the young and old.

    She married Ray W. Beck on Nov. 28, 1939, in Martinsville; he preceded her in death on March 8, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Russell W.
