    The Sebastian County public defender's office entered the plea for John Suleski, 24, after Circuit Judge James Cox appointed the office to represent him. Cox accepted the prosecutor's recommendation and set Suleski's bond at $500,000.

    Woman dies after jumping out of car

    A Van Buren woman died Saturday when she threw herself from a moving vehicle during an argument with her husband, according to a Fort Smith police news release. Cassandra Wylie, 41, was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith after jumping from the vehicle at Arkansas 45 and Burrough Road in south Fort Smith about 8 p.m. Saturday.
