    A Dunmore man accused of cutting the brake lines in his girlfriend's car, causing her to crash to her death, will stand trail, Magisterial District Judge Laura Turlip ruled Friday. John Jenkins, 40, 1113 Taylor Ave., first floor, appeared in court as his defense attorneys argued for a lesser charge.

    Woman killed in I-380 bus crash

    The woman who died Sunday night when a bus she was riding in crashed on Interstate 380 was identified as Rebecca Renee Blanco, 33, of Vacaville, California, according to state police. An autopsy conducted Monday determined Blanco died from multiple traumatic injuries, Lackawanna County Coroner Tim Rowland said.
