    Steve Perry, leading national education expert, CNN and MSNBC educational contributor, will serve as the keynote speaker for Provost Academy Georgia's commencement exercises on Saturday, June 13, at 2 p.m., at Agnes Scott College's Presser Hall in Decatur. Provost Academy will graduate 155 students and nearly 60 of those students will gather from across the state to participate in the charter high school's annual commencement exercises.

    Georgia Piedmont Technical College is moving ahead with plans to open its 11th educational facility in the former 50,000-square-foot Everest Institute on Wesley Chapel Road in Decatur. The two- year college's newest campus is expected to open by June, GPTC President Jabari Simama said.
