    Eastern Iowa woman dies in house fire

    The Scott County Sheriff's office says Cynthia Webb died Thursday night in the town of Blue Grass in eastern Iowa. Webb spent her career working for government agencies in Scott County, including the sheriff's department and Davenport City Council.

    Quad Cities' Meatloaf the cat dies of liver disease

    A feline at a Davenport, Iowa animal shelter who went viral last month because of his large size died on Saturday, only 19 days after being adopted. He got both on August 20, less than a week after going viral, when Steve Gusman and fiancA e Mary Armstrong of Moline adopted him .
