James W. Winn, who was known as "Pat," a retired longtime Darien police lieutenant, died Monday, July 20. He was 73. He earned his criminal justice degree from Iona College and served with the Darien police department, where he was remembered for his outstanding service, until his retirement. He belonged to numerous social and civic organizations. Comment?

JPMorgan Chase is endowing a scholarship in the memory of the late Jimmy Lee, the bank's beloved vice chairman and one of Wall Street's top rainmakers. The $1 million scholarship, called the "Jimmy Lee Fund," will help pay for the tuition of low-income students attending inner-city Catholic high schools, the release said. Comment?

FAIRFIELD, Conn. Milton Enoch Forstrom. of Fairfield, died at The Carolton in Fairfield on Monday, July 6. He was 88. He attended Maplewood School and Bassick High School, playing basketball and football before leaving Bassick in January 1945 to join the Navy during World War II. Comment?
