    Services Set For James W. Winn, Retired Darien Polic...

    James W. Winn, who was known as "Pat," a retired longtime Darien police lieutenant, died Monday, July 20. He was 73. He earned his criminal justice degree from Iona College and served with the Darien police department, where he was remembered for his outstanding service, until his retirement. He belonged to numerous social and civic organizations.

    Stephen Zangrillo, owner of the Darien Sport Shop, in 1997. Zangrillo died in his Darien home July 8, 2015 at age 91. Editor's note: Stephen Frank Zangrillo , who opened Darien Sport Shop in 1946, died July 8 at his Darien home at age 91. Mr. Z, you didn't have to, but you did.

    JPMorgan Chase is endowing a scholarship in the memory of the late Jimmy Lee, the bank's beloved vice chairman and one of Wall Street's top rainmakers. The $1 million scholarship, called the "Jimmy Lee Fund," will help pay for the tuition of low-income students attending inner-city Catholic high schools, the release said.

    Milton Enoch Forstrom, 88, Of Fairfield

    FAIRFIELD, Conn. Milton Enoch Forstrom. of Fairfield, died at The Carolton in Fairfield on Monday, July 6. He was 88. He attended Maplewood School and Bassick High School, playing basketball and football before leaving Bassick in January 1945 to join the Navy during World War II.

    Stephen F. Zangrillo, 91, Darien Sport Shop Founder

    He is survived by his wife Yolanda Zangrillo, his brother Robert Zangrillo, his four children Stephen F. Zangrillo Jr., Anthony Zangrillo, Stephanie Zangrillo, and Gina Zangrillo. Also surviving are his six grandchildren: Stephen F. Zangrillo III, Nicholas and Samantha Neville and Gregory, Douglas and Allison Reilly.

    Hector Luis Guzman, 70, Of Stamford

    He was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Feb. 11, 1945 and was one of 14 children born to the late Maria Alvarez and Francisco Guzman. He spent his early years in Puerto Rico and came to the U.S. in 1963.
