    The teacher from Georgia and high-profile attorney from Fairfield County who were the two passengers killed in Saturday's small-plane crash off the coast of the Hamptons were in a six-month, long-distance relationship. Richard Terbrusch, 53, was a Ridgefield resident whose divorce and family law practice was based in Danbury, and Dr. Jennifer Landrum, 45, was a teacher at Thomson High School in Georgia.

    Pedestrian struck by car in Danbury dies of injuries

    Officials with the state Medical Examiners office confirmed Tuesday that Nielson Rivas-Garcia, 31, died as a result of complications from traumatic head injuries he received in Thursday's accident. Rivas-Garcia was crossing the street near the Shell gas station when he was struck by a Subaru Outback driven by Ronald Fields, 56, police said.
