    A Flight for Life helicopter flies near Maroon Lake Wednesday morning where two people were found dead in their tent from carbon monoxide poisoning. Pitkin County officials say a Colorado Springs man and his 13-year-old son found dead in a tent at the Maroon Bells earlier this month died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

    A memorial at a stop sign in the north area of Memorial Part is growing with balloons, flowers, signs and photos for Desmond Smith, 14. Smith was shot in that area early Saturday morning. He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.

    Officials say all 54 stingrays in a popular exhibit at a suburban Chicago zoo died because the oxygen levels in their tank dropped too low. The Chicago Zoological Society released a statement Saturday saying the four southern stingrays and 50 cow-nose rays in the Brookfield Zoo exhibit were in a shallow pool that allows visitors to touch and feed the creatures.
