    David Mansel Parkinson

    Affectionately known by his family as Popa, he enjoyed fishing in his boat, cooking lunch for his family and sitting in his rocker on the front porch. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from the Bowater Paper Company in Charleston, where he made many memories and friends.

    She was a member of Newcomb Baptist Church in Newcomb, and attended Prospect Church of God in Cleveland. She retired as the public relations representative at Pacific Bell, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

    William White

    He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, where he was considered one of the best linemen to ever attend Bradley, and was named an All State Tackle. He received a football scholarship to MTSU, and was starting tackle and freshman all conference.

    She retired as the public relations representative at Pacific Bell, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a member The Order of the Eastern Star in San Diego, Calif., and enjoyed volunteering at the hospital, also in California.

    Hundreds of festival-goers descended on Charleston Saturday for the seventh annual International Cowpea Festival and Cook-off.Live musical entertainment began before noon and continued through the ... THE HISTORIC CHARLESTON Cumberland Presbyterian Church, established in 1860, was open for tours on Saturday. Attendance was slow due to the Cowpea Festival and other activities.

    Memorial Service For Kara Cheyenne Edmondson

    After a long battle with a rare form of cancer, Cheyenne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 17, 2018 at Children's Hospital in Chattanooga TN. Cheyenne was a resident of Charleston TN and formerly resided in Wicksburg Alabama.
