    James W. Stickel

    Born November 5, 1968 in Ranson he was the son of Irene Lou Ellen Black Stickel of Charles Town and the late Francis Eldridge Stickel, Sr. He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Kimberley Ann Webber Stickel, son, Morgan Miller and wife Pamela , daughter, Danielle Stickel and companion Michael Adams, Jr. all of Charles Town, grandchildren Audrey, Makayla and Michael, III. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by brother, Francis Stickel, Jr. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home with the Pastor Ed Hall officiating.

    James E. Gore

    Gore, 88, of Charles Town, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at his residence under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle. Mr. Gore retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 34 years as postmaster of the Ranson Post Office.

He was a member of Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church, where he was on the Board of Trustees and superintendent of the Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery.
