    'Called to serve': Chamber of Commerce honors citize...

    MARTINSBURG-An audience filled with more than 300 community members erupted in applause as Sue Ann Palmer, member of the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation board, was named Berkeley County Citizen of the Year during the 91st annual Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce dinner Thursday night. Since her retirement, Palmer has continued to help others with community projects, including spearheading the Gateway Children's Garden at Ambrose Park, organizing an after school mentoring program at her church and conducting a monthly clean up day with fellow church members.
