    Frederick C. "Fred" Shuler

    Frederick C. "Fred" Shuler, Fredonia, died Monday at the age of 80 at Brooks Memorial Hospital.He was born May 29, 1935, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Frederick and Marion Edith "Edie" Shuler.He entered Brocton High School in 1950 when his fa-ther transferred as shift superintendent for Niagara Mohawk power plant in Dunkirk. His life-long high school friend Lloyd Corell preceded him in death on October 29, their last days intertwined on a similar path as they both succumbed after a month-long battle with cancer.

    Howard J. Falco

    He was born Oct. 26, 1943 in Dunkirk, the son of the late Joseph A. and Rita H. Falco. A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Howard had been employed by the Fredonia Central School System, retiring as head custodian.
