A Mount Vernon resident for more than 50 years, former representative to the Virginia House of Delegates Frank Medico died Dec. 30, 2016 at the age of 92. He previously worked as assistant director of the U.S. General Accounting Office for two decades before retiring in 1979. In the community, Medico volunteered as co-chair of the Mount Vernon Council of Civic Associations. Comment?

The diver, who was not identified, was working in the 150-foot Lincoln Heights tank around 10 a.m., when he signaled he was losing air, the Boston Globe reported. Comment?

One year after her daughter vanished and one month after the fatal shooting of her husband, a Bardstown woman says her family is facing another obstacle. Sherry Ballard's daughter Crystal Rogers disappeared back in 2015 and according to KSP, her husband Tommy was shot and killed while hunting in November. Comment?
