"The Treehouse Guys" episode set to air July 12 will feature the completion of the treehouse at Sherry's House in Worcester, designed specifically for children with cancer and their families. The DIY Network television series began filming the construction phases of the project in August 2015, said David Hagan, executive director of Why Me Inc., the Worcester-based nonprofit that operates Sherry's House. Beatrice L. Waters, 96, of Northborough, formerly of Westborough, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough. She was the wife of the late William H. Waters, Jr. Born in West Boylston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Lindberg and was educated in West Boylston schools. Comment?

In spite of a steady rain, there were 305 finishers in the ninth annual Katie's 5K Scholarship Road Race held on Memorial Day morning. Nathan Swaim, of Grafton, crossed the finish line first, posting a time of 16 minutes and 51 seconds. Comment?

The Boylston Garden Club has donated an 1890 marble top table to the John B. Gough House in memory of Florence Tobiensen Smith, a long-time active member of the garden club who recently passed away. Smith was also a dedicated volunteer at the Boylston Historical Society and held the restoration of the Gough House near and dear to her heart. Comment?
