    11 infant bodies found in closed Detroit funeral home

    Authorities say the bodies of 11 babies have been found in a funeral home that was closed six months ago. Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs spokesman Jason Moon says inspectors found the bodies Friday at the Cantrell Funeral Home on the city's east side.

    The U.S. Forest Service is set to round up 1,000 wild horses and says many of them could be sold to distant slaughterhouses. The roundup is set to begin Tuesday and last through the month.

    Child sex offender dies in Nevada prison; was teache...

    A 55-year-old former Nevada middle school teacher, youth soccer coach, foster parent and part-time police officer has died in prison while serving 60 years to life in a child sexual assault case that stunned his hometown of Boulder City, near Las Vegas. The Nevada Department of Corrections said Tuesday that Charles Richard "Rick" Rogers died Monday in the High Desert State Prison infirmary, where he was treated for an unspecified illness.

    Ex-Clark County teacher convicted of child sex abuse...

    Charles Richard Rogers, 55, who taught at a Boulder City middle school and two Henderson elementaries, was imprisoned in 2010 for producing child pornography and sexually assaulting young boys. A former Boulder City and Henderson teacher, imprisoned in 2010 for producing child pornography and sexually assaulting young boys, died in prison on Monday, the Nevada Department of Corrections said.
