He is survived by his daughter, Laura of Boone, N.C.; son, Scott of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sibling, Joellen Malicki; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was born October 15, 1959, in Watauga County. A Christian from an early age, Keith was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and played in the church worship band.
