Finnegan , Martha P. Gooding and Jeannette M. Triplett ; and son, Donald Keith Darr . Almost two and a half months after suffering severe injuries in a car crash that claimed the life of their friend Grace Sulak, 14, Andrea and Emma Dewey are making good progress in their recoveries. During an interview at the Deweys' Bluffton home on July 19, 2016, Emma, also 14, said she is eager to start running again for cross country and track, a passion she shared with Sulak. Comment?

Debbie Quirin, of Beaufort, explains that she saw several people out on the sandbar well after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, just off of the beach near the Hunting Island State Park campground. Five people reportedly disappeared while on the sandbar on Tuesday night, but the search was suspended around midnight on Wednesday morning after the report was determined to be false. Comment?
