    John Burda Jr.

    He was born February 15, 1962 in Martins Ferry, OH, son of Linda LoCoco Burda and the late John E. Burda Sr. John was a graduate of West Liberty University, majoring in Health and Physical Education, was a teacher and coach in various schools in Marshall and Ohio County School Systems, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his mother is his uncle, Fred Burda of Martins Ferry along with several cousins and a close friend, Barbara Fehrman of Byesville, OH.

    Nancy Harris

    Nancy Harris, 88, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the home of her daughter, Terri Ackerman in Morrow, Ohio. Nancy was a retired employee of the Benwood Kroger's and a member of the South Bellaire United Methodist Church.

    Richard Rodefer

    He was preceded in death by both his parents, Dorothy Shackleford and Howard Hayden Rodefer; and his younger brother, Stephen. He leaves behind a wife, Lindsay Scott; sister, Judy; three children, Joshua of Thomasville, GA, Susan of Doha, Qatar, and Alexis of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jacob, Samuel and Ella; two cats Ozzie and Izzie; and several chickens.

    Martin Melott Jr.

    Gene was born December 21, 1954 in Glen Dale WV, son of the late Lucy Marie Baker and Martin Eugene Melott Sr. Survived by one sister, Michelle Parsons of Shadyside, Ohio, four brothers, Carl Melott of Moundsville, WV, Dean Melott of Glen Dale, WV, Mike Melott of Bellaire, Ohio; Scott Melott of New York, and several nieces, nephews and cousins and friend, Mickey Miliken her two daughters, Adreenne and Emma. Family will receive Friends Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. with brother Scott Melott officiating.
